It’s back! Produced using fruit from organic growers all over Italy that Monte Bernardi has relationships with, this is winemaker Michael Schmelzer’s homage to Italian table wine or Vino di Tavola. Bottled in liter-sized bottles that are short and squat, this is the new flask or “nuovo fiasco” to replace the wicker-wrapped bottles that used to be so prevalent. Fresh and juicy with just a little bit of spiciness on the finish, this is your new pizza wine. Trust me when I tell you that this is a bottle not to be missed. *I mean, that’s what we’ve heard at least.
