Nigel was born in Jamaica and raised in Brooklyn. He is very much a local product having attended Brooklyn Tech H.S., and Columbia University here in New York City. He has over 20 years of experience in finance and has lived in Bedford-Stuyvesant since 2005. When he isn’t curating wine for Liquid Assets, Nigel can be spotted riding his bike about Brooklyn or pitching in at Tech-FIN (www.tech-fin.org), a Brooklyn based non-profit that he co-founded.
Natasha Flores, a first-generation American of Latina and Caribbean descent, was born and raised in Brooklyn. She attended Nazareth H.S. and earned her MS in Education from Brooklyn College. She has been an educator with the NYC Dept. of Education for 20 years and has lived in Bed-Stuy since 2008. Coming from a family of entrepreneurs, being a lover of wine, and looking to add a feminine touch, she hopes that Liquid Assets will be a welcomed addition to the neighborhood.
Liquid Assets offers a robust selection of wines, ranging from the old world, to the new, and the esoteric, to the everyday.
